colored putties are softer than coral. Also, heat softens putty. Putty softens up nicely when you work mineral oil into it, but it dries out after a while. But then again, my putty is a special mix of bright yellow silly putty, silver silly putty, and ink that was very dark blue instead of black. VERY IMPORTANT:don't let your putty come into contact with those silicone wristbands, because they stick like crazy, and anything you would use to get it off would melt the band.
